Abstract

1428649 Fastening tube for dyeing spindle LEBRECHT TIGGES KG 10 Jan 1975 [24 Jan 1974] 1169/75 Heading D1L Fastening tube 2 for retaining a yarn spool holder 3 on a dyeing spindle 1 comprises a pressure plate 8 axially slidable on the tube 2 against the action of spring 9, the spindle 1 being engageable with the tube 2 by means of transversely extending pins 10, 11 which locate in recesses M in the interior of the tube, access to the recesses M being provided via slots 14 (Fig. 4) in inclined shoulders 13 formed within the inner end of tube 2. As shown in Fig. 2 the recesses M may be located at the bottom of V-shaped shoulders 13. Alternatively, as shown in Fig. 8, the recesses are formed in heart-shaped slots. In the latter case the recesses are located on a sleeve 35 rotatable within the lower end of the tube.
