Round the insulating body 96 two spring strips 151 carrying finger pieces 165 are clipped, tabs 153 on each limiting the movement of the other, and are secured by screws 156 passing through body 96 and insulating plate 87 into tapped holes 78 in base-plate 76. Wires 137, 145 from the wiring cavity pass through holes 84 in the insulating plate 87, down conduit 79 to the appliance screwed on end 80. The contact blades, equally offset on either side of the longitudinal centre line, touch the track conductors after latches 160 touch the track walls to act as grounding contacts. On complete insertion, detents on latches 160 enter grooves in the track walls, releasable by displacing the finger pieces.
