Abstract

1426349 Boxes for dispensing sheets WING'S PLASTIC MFG CO Ltd 13 Nov 1973 52736/73 Heading B8P A dispenser for sheets contained in a plastics box 1 with a hinged lid 2 has a plunger on the top of the lid which when depressed causes a pad 18 of rubber or of plastics material to rotate in contact with the uppermost sheet whereby a corner of the sheet protrudes through a slit 5 between a comer of the lid and the box. The pad is mounted on mechanism comprising a spring biased threaded shaft 17, a threaded aperture in a lever 12 pivoted at 14 and a leaf spring 15. Sloping walls 7, 8 in the box and a guide 10 in the lid ensure that the sheet is guided through the slit 5. In another embodiment the pad is carried by a shaft extending through the lid and rotation of a knob on the outside of the lid rotates the uppermost sheet. In a modification, the shaft is threaded for engagement with a threaded aperture.
