Abstract

1425157 Display stands HALLMARK CARDS Inc 13 March 1974 [17 May 1973] 11079/74 Heading A4T An illuminated display fixture e.g. for greetings cards, comprises receptacle means having at least one pocket 22 with a translucent wall 24 and an opaque back wall, a light source 68, a reflector 50, 54, and a supporting structure 12. Groups of pockets 22 are preferably formed as vacuum- moulded modules 20, strips of resin material 74 coated with aluminium particles being applied to the back walls of the pockets 22 to render them opaque, and light may be provided by fluorescent tubes 68. Each reflector 50, 54 is preferably of white-painted metal, and storage drawers 18 may be provided below the modules 20. The modules 20 may be held in releasable engagement with the supporting structure by peripheral lips (78), Figs. 5, 8 and 9 (not shown), which engage with brackets (81), (82) on the supporting structure 12. Translucent panels 36 for advertising matter may be provided, as may pockets 38 e.g. for envelopes:
