142,337. Law, R. D. June 11, 1919 With attachments for special purposes. -An attachment for boots, gaiters, &c. comprises a frame, Fig. 1, with tongues h which fit over the tops of boots &c. The frame may be covered with leather, fabric, &c. for ornament or for giving warmth and protection. The frame may be of spring material or may be provided with straps or with snap-fastenings at c, d (not shown in Fig. 1. A tongue k, Fig. 5, is stamped out of the upright member c to engage a loop l stamped out of the member d.
