Abstract

223,602. Luscher, H. O. Oct. 20, 1923, [Convention date]. Bags. - A device for producing a variable ornamental effect on boots and shoes comprises a band 4, 5 having a wider part 1 provided with an opening 2 and a backing 3 forming a pocket open at its upper edge. An ornamental fitting of any .desired character is inserted in the pocket which may be closed by a press-fastener. The band is completed by an elastic part 6 which, when the device is applied to the shoe, lies below the instep. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states also that the device may be applied to ornamentation of belts, bags, bracelets, &c. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
