Abstract

1422250 Automatic control of speed BURROUGHS CORP 2 May 1973 20839/73 Heading G3R A reel to reel tape transport system similar to that described in Specification 1422249 employs the voltage generated by the supply reel to provide the angular velocity signal Ws. The effective radius signal is derived by integrating the angular velocity signal and subtracting the resultant signal from a pre-set pull reel signal to give the signal rs which is then multiplied by the signal Ws to give the linear tape speed signal Vo.
