Abstract

1420981 Two part couplings BENDIX CORP 7 May 1973 [8 May 1972] 21657/73 Heading H2E A connector comprises two coupling parts 2, 3 held in a housing consisting of first 100 and second 200 sleeves butting each other at partly cut-away ends, each end having parts of one or more annular grooves such that the two ends align forming one or more continuous circumferential grooves 203, 204; the sleeves being releasably fastened together by one or more snap rings 301, 302 in the groove or grooves. The two rings 301, 302 are shown holding a coupling ring 400 between them which may be mounted on a panel. The coupling parts 2, 3, their respective contacts 6, 11 mounted on respective inserts 5, 13 and their mounting within the sleeve 100 are all substantially similar to those described in Specification 1,232,036.
