Abstract
1419633 Woven fabrics MULLARD Ltd 5 March 1973 [8 May 1972] 21359/72 Heading D1K [Also in Division H1] Crossed conductors 4 and 5 forming the electrode arrays of a glow discharge dispersing device (see Division H1) are interlaced with fibres 6 of electrically insulating material so that each discharge path at the crossing points of the conductors is substantially completely surrounded by fibres. The conductors 4 or 5 may be either bare or coated with an electrically resistive layer. The fibres 6 are preferably of glass. In one construction, Fig. 2a, each conductor 4 and 5 appears on both sides of the fabric. In an alternative construction, Fig. 3a, conductors 4 and interposed fibre-glass cords 8 held by fibre-glass cords 6 form one layer on which is placed a second layer comprising conductors 5 and interposed glass-fibre cords 9 held by fibre-glass cords 7.
