1418464 Foamed carpet backing INTERNATIONAL SYNTHETIC RUBBER CO LTD 16 Feb 1973 [16 Feb 1972] 7263/72 Heading B2E [Also in Division C3] In example 18 carpetbacking was coated with a foam made of a styrene-butadiene rubber latex compounded with a polyvinyl chloride powder of particle size about 1.5 microns and cross-linking agents, surfactants, an antioxidant, wax emulsion, and thickeners. The coated carpetbacking was dried and the foamed rubber was cross-linked.
