Projectile fuses.--Consists in making an external lever m of an elastic strip so curved that, when a striker i is cocked by the lever'and the outer end of the lever pressed against the body of the grenade a, the curved part of the. lever exerts by its resiliency an outward pressure on a safety pin preventing an accidental unlocking. The lever m, is made with ears trunnioned in slots a<4> in lugs a' of the grenade; and the pin n is provided with a ring n<1> which, during transport, is folded down and forcibly held by the lugs a<5>, as shown in Fig. 4.
