1416740 Pyridine derivatives CIBA-GEIGY AG 14 Dec 1972 [28 Dec 1971] 35699/73 Divided out of 1416738 Heading C2C Novel pyridine derivatives of the Formula I wherein two of the Z radicals represent groups of the formula and one of the Z radicals represents a group of the formula or wherein each or R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>11</SP> and R<SP>111</SP> is a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted aryl, cycloalkyl or alkyl radical or R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>11</SP> complete a saturated heterocyclic ring and Y is a -C # N or -CONH 2 radical, are prepared by reacting appropriate 3-cyano bromo-substituted amino pyridines with appropriate amino, hydroxy or mercapto compounds, and if desired, hydrolysing the cyano compounds produced to the corresponding amides.
