Abstract

1416472 Toilet roll holders W & W WEIDMANN & WEIG GmbH & CO 7 March 1973 [8 March 1972] 11115/73 Heading B8M A toilet roll holder comprises a casing for mounting on a vertical surface, having a holder for the roll (22), Fig. 3 (not shown), and means for supporting, e.g. an air purifying tablet (19), Fig. 4 (not shown), a toilet brush (11), a drip tray 12 and a container (16) e.g. of cleaning agent. The holder is preferably injection moulded, e.g. from polystyrene, with holes 6 for mounting to a wall. The container (16) is supported on a shelf (18) projecting from a back wall (5), the tablet (19) being accommodated in a hollow portion of the shelf (18) and storage space for spare rolls (22) is included. A pivotable cover 25 gives access to a wall 20 for supporting the roll (22) in use, the free end of which is drawn between portions 24, 27, and a serrated edge 26 facilitates tear-off. Depressions 31 may serve as an ash tray.
