Abstract
1416392 Glass-fibre reinforced epoxy resin laminate PERSTORP AB 5 March 1973 [13 March 1972] 10483/73 Heading B5N A glass-fibre reinforced epoxy resin laminate for use in the production of through hole plated printed circuits is prepared by forming a layer of epoxy resin not less then 10 Ám. thick on a temporary base of aluminium or aluminium alloy foil, partially curing the resin to reduce its flowability in subsequent pressing, applying such a foil to each face of a permanent base comprising one or more glass fibre sheets impregnated with partially cured epoxy resin, curing by pressing under heat and removing the temporary bases by peeling off, dissolution or etching off in NaOH. A laminate derived from one or more sheets of epoxy resin impregnated glass fibre material having on both sides surface layers of epoxy resin of thickness 10-200 Ám. is claimed "per se". The resin layers may contain fine particles of organic or inorganic filler.
