Abstract
141,390. Hoare, T. F. Feb. 1, 1919. Drawings to Specification. Tanks.-Acid-resisting tanks are formed by casting slag in moulds. A roughened appearance may be imparted to the article by sanding the mould; or the moulds may be formed with patterns, figures, &c. The articles may be ornamented by applying colouring-material to the moulds, e.g. a timber-like finish may be imparted by applying bands of colour to the faces of the moulds, by mixing the colouring-material with the slag, or by applying colour to the article after removal from the mould.
