Abstract

141,296. Watson, E. F. Dec. 6, 1918. Sights.-Relates to luminous night attachments for foresights, and consists mainly in making the attachment with a slot open at the bottom but covered at the top and adapted to fit over and embrace the sides of the day foresight. As shown in Figs. 4 and 5, the day foresight 78 lies between guards 77, and the night-sight attachment 79 has a luminous patch 81 and a slot 80 open at the bottom and fore-end only, so that it can be slipped along the foresight 78 and held in position by its grip. In a modification, a screw is provided at the forward end of the attachment to tighten its grip on the foresight.
