111,526. Pritchard, A. Nov. 29, 1916. Attaching bayonets to guns. - Consists in mounting a short bayonet or dagger on a revolver by a fastening which does not necessitate any modification of the revolver itself. In the construction shown, the upper part of the bayonet guard consists of two side limbs C' between which the barrel fits and the top of the handle is grooved and its rear end formed with projections B<3> to engage the body of the revolver. A spring bolt F in one of the limbs C<1> engages above the barrel behind the foresight.
