Repairing leaks. - A device for temporarily repairing leaks in burst pipes, of the kind in which a metal shoe lined with cork, felt, &c. is swivelled to a screw bolt passing through a C-shaped cramp-like member, is constructed with a shoe a of V crosssection to receive the lining e which fits into the V and at its gripping - face is curved to embrace the pipe f near the leak f<2>. The shoe a is carried by a screw c with a winged head fitted with holes c<3> for receiving an operating-tool.
