Abstract

1411885 Opening roofs WARWICK & BAILEY Ltd 10 Jan 1974 [10 Jan 1973] 1295/73 Heading B7B A camping vehicle or caravan roof 1 has an aperture closed by a vertically movable portion 2 which is mounted by arms 3 and a spring loaded telescopic mechanism, the vertical movement being limited by flexible sheeting 8 fixed about the periphery of the aperture and portion. At each side of the portion 2 pairs of arms are pivoted to the portion and the underside of the roof and to rods 5, 6 which are urged apart to erect the portion 2 by a spring 7. Rods 5, 6 are pulled down to close the roof whereupon arms 3 act on rods 5, 6 to compress the spring. A seal is provided about the aperture periphery.
