Abstract

1536626 Foldable canopy D P KUEN AU 20 May 1977 21359/77 Heading E1A A foldable or retractable canopy for a motor vehicle shelter comprises a pair of fixed supports 4 and a pair of fixed supports 5 movable along the ground or foundation, only the upper portions of the supports 4, 5 being connected by a vertically aligned lazy tongs linkage on each side of the canopy. A flexible cover 2 formed of plastics or cotton fabric may be a simple limb cover or a roller blind (not shown). The supports may be of galvanized or painted iron, stainless steel or aluminium or may be rubber coated steel tubes.
