Abstract

1411532 Dishwashing machines DOMAR SA 8 March 1974 [8 June 1973 (2)] 10605/74 Heading A4F [Also in Division D1] A detergent dispenser comprises a plurality of chambers which are selectively supplied with water from a pipe 31 by respective valve arrangements each including a closure member 28 controlled by an actuating member 25 which permits flow of water to a control passage 30 which is closed to alter the fluid-pressure on the actuating member 25 to move it and the closure member 28. As shown the treatment agent chambers are formed in a common moulding 9 which forms a slidable drawer, with a handle 16, for recharging and is provided with a transverse wall 18 at the discharge end of each chamber. The actuating member, as shown, is a diaphragm with a hole 26 but may be a loosely fitting piston Fig. 9 (not shown), and the control passages 30 are in flexible tubes which are closable by radial movement of member 34 mounted in a common block 33 and actuated by cams 35 or face cams driven by a programmer.
