1411478 Tie rods for concrete shuttering LEIF MALTHUS & CO AS 23 Feb 1973 [23 June 1972] 9127/73 Heading E1S A tie rod for concrete shuttering comprises in combination a rod 1 having at each end a weakened portion 3 and a thickened portion 4, and, abutment elements 2 which are made of synthetic plastics or elastomeric material, are of frusto-conical configuration and provided with a countersunk bore to accommodate the rod with its portion 4 received in the longer bore thereof. The elements 2 may be made of nylon, polyvinyl chloride or natural or synthetic rubber.
