Abstract

1357341 Door and window frames; glazing J HENDERSON 28 May 1971 [23 April 1970] 19638/70 Headings E1J and E1R A frame comprises a plastics shell with a channel in its outer surface containing a filler, e.g. of plaster, concrete or plastics. Glazing bars (16, 17 Fig. 1 not shown) are moulded from the same material as the shell and have reinforcements (18, 19). Panes 14 are secured by clamping strips 12 having dowels engaging in the frame or in the glazing bar and in a further clamping strip 12 with holes. Alternative glazing bars and clamping strips may be used (Figs. 12-14, not shown).
