Abstract

1409076 Shelving; stands; clothes stands ATELIERS REUNIS SA 1 Dec 1972 [8 Dec 1971] 55477/72 Headings A4B A4H and A4U [Also in Division E2] A set of units for forming shelving, seats, display stands or clothes stands includes panels 1 in the form of wire grids provided along each of two opposite edges with a series of hooks 4 in the form of open loops, the panels being interconnectable in series by pins 56 passed through the hooks 4 on the adjacent edges of two panels 1. A panel 1d may be hooked at its ends to two spaced panels 1a, 1c to define a shelf or seat, the spaced panels 1a, 1c being connected by pins 5 to a rear panel 1b. The pin 5 may be provided at one end with a ferrule 7 forming a ground engaging foot and at its opposite end with a reduced diameter portion which can be fitted into an end of an extension pin 6. The specification illustrates some possible forms of wall-like display stands formed from the panels and pins, the grids being engageable by hangers for supporting articles for display.
