140,906. Booth, W. R. April 12, 1919. Kinematograph apparatus. - A separate-leaf kinematograph apparatus is combined with model stage scenery so that the scenery and moving pictures are seen together. As shown, model scenery, comprising a background B, a proscenium, and wings W<1>, W<2>, W<3>, is mounted in the upper chamber of a casing C and is viewed through a magnifying-glass V. The kinematograph reel is mounted in the lower chamber, and the picture I, comprising figures in front of a black background, is seen by reflexion in an inclined sheet of glass &c. M. The scenery may be illuminated by lamps L<2>, and a more powerful lamp L<1> may illuminate the pictures. According to the Provisional Specification, the pictures may be viewed directly, and the scenery may be refiected.
