Abstract

1407682 Cardboard blanks JOHN CLELAND & SON Ltd 28 Sept 1973 [28 Sept 1972] 44725/72 Heading B8P A cardboard blank comprises main panels 1, 2 is slit longitudinally at 4, the two portions of the blank being held together by integral glue flaps 5, 6 which are hinged to each other and to the end of the blank portions. The flaps 5, 6 are folded along hinge lines 7, the flaps 5 only being glued to the adjacent panels. Adhesive is then applied to the free faces of the flaps 5, 6 so that when the blank is folded about the longitudinal fold lines 8 the flaps will stick together. The blank may then be opened out to form a sleeve. As shown in Fig. 5 bottom flaps may be provided to form a base for the sleeve.
