Abstract

1403466 Shoring jacks H B CONTRACTING Ltd 19 April 1973 [25 May 1972] 19030/73 Heading F1D A shoring jack, Fig. 1 comprising a piston 7 with a seal 8 and a cylinder 2, is expanded into engagement with surfaces to be supported by compressed gas, which is admitted through a port 4, and is locked by inserting a pin 12 through a pair of holes 11 closest to a collar 14, rotating the collar to bring sloping cam surfaces thereon into abutment with the pin and locking the collar in the rotated position by a screw 20 which engages the cylinder. The collar has a shoulder which bears on the end of the cylinder. Holes 5 in the cylinder limit extension of the ram.,
