Abstract

1402109 Infusion dispensers L ROSSI 3 Oct 1972 [8 Oct 1971] 45520/72 Heading A4E [Also in Division F2] An infusion dispensing unit has a ferromagnetic valve member 20 which is displaceable by means of a manually movable permanent magnet 37 between a first position in which it closes the path between an infusion liquid supply duct 14 and an infusion chamber (18), Figs. 1, 2 (not shown), and a second position in which it opens said path. In said first position of member 20, a duct 17 to chamber (18) is in connection via a slot 24 in member 20 and a nozzle 32 with a drainage duct 16 and a disc 27 is urged by a spring 28 to seal an outlet nozzle 29 of duct 14. When a lever (38, Figs. 1, 2,) is moved, annular magnet 37 is raised and attracts member 20 downwards against a spring 33 so that disc 30 is urged by spring 26 to seal nozzle 32 and so that disc 27 is moved away from nozzle 29. The duct 14 is provided with a filter (13, Fig. 1), and magnet 37 is coupled to lever (38) via a connecting rod (40) having a yoke 42.
