1401389 Piezoceramic material VSESOJUZNY NAUCHNO - ISSLEDOVATELSKY INSTITUT REAKTIVOV I KHIMICHESKI CHISTYKH MATERIALOV DLYA ELEKTRONNOI TEKHNIKI 4 May 1973 21342/73 Heading C1J [Also in Division H1] A piezoceramic material comprises in mole per cent, 36À60-54À83 PbZrO 3 , 36À30-60À35 PbTiO 3 ; Me<SP>2</SP>+ZrO 3 0À04-5À65; Me<SP>2+</SP>TiO 3 0À04-4À80 and 0À80-6À00 A x <SP>2+</SP>B y <SP>3+</SP>Mn z O 3 wherein A<SP>2</SP> + = Zn, Cd Ni, Co or Cu ; B<SP>3</SP> + = Bi or La ; Me<SP>2+</SP>=Sr, Ba or Ca ; x=¢,1; g=<SP>2</SP>/ 3 , <SP>1</SP>/ 3 , 1 and z=¢, “, ¥. It may be prepared by mixing in a mill the oxides or carbonates of the corresponding metals, heating at 800-850‹ C. for 2 hours, sintering for 1-2 hours at 1000-1130‹ C. grinding and polarizing. The use of this material in filter technique, acoustics, hydroacoustics, ultrasonic delay lines and piezoelectric converter devices is mentioned.
