1401230 Cathode ray tubes A W STANDAART 10 Aug 1972 [18 Aug 1971] 5453/74 Divided out of 1401229 Heading H1D The description corresponds generally to that of the parent Specification 1,401,229. The multi-beam c.r.t. apparatus claimed for producing a matrix display pattern, includes, among other components, a resistive helical accelerating anode 28 and means for applying to same a negative potential gradient progressing from a maximum negative voltage at the cathode end to eliminate beam divergence due to repulsion of like charges in the beams. Helix dimensions, resistance and potentials are given.
