Abstract

1401181 Locking screws J A CRABTREE & CO Ltd 10 Aug 1972 [19 Oct 1971] 48494/71 Heading F2H A calibrating screw 5 is retained in a plain aperture of an electrical device, e.g. a circuit breaker, by a plug 7 of resilient insulating material, e.g. nylon, located in a bore or groove (8) (Fig. 3, not shown) at right angles to and impinging on the aperture, the aperture being formed, in the arrangement shown, by a channel 6 in the casing 2 and a cover (3). After adjustment, the screw is locked in position by an insulating sealing compound applied to the exposed head of the screw in an enlarged portion 6a of the channel 6.
