Abstract

1400092 Electro-photography LA CELLOPHANE 22 May 1973 [27 July 1972] 24465/73 Heading G2H In a process of the kind in which an electrostatic latent image on a photo-conductive support 14 is transferred to a dielectric support 15 brought adjacent thereto, parasitic discharges during the subsequent separation of the two supports 14, 15 are prevented by totally discharging the photoconductive support 14 after the image transfer and at the latest at the moment of separation. The discharging is effected by means of light; either applied through the support 14, if it is translucent; or directed at the line where the two supports 14, 15 separate after passing through the nip of a pair of rollers 12, 13, if the support 14 is opaque.
