Abstract

1398675 Dyeing textile material BRUCKNER APPARATEBAU GmbH 9 Feb 1973 [21 Feb 1972] 6419/73 Heading D1L A web 1 (Fig. 4) of textile material is dyed by passage over and in contact with a finite area of an embossed roller 2 the surface of which carries a dyestuff solution or other treating liquid containing an organic solvent. After dyeing &c the web may be passed through a chamber 13 filled with solvent vapour 12 before being dried in drying zone 4. The dyestuff solution &c may be applied to the roller by a spray 10 (Fig. 3) fed by pump 9 communicating with a bath 6 of dyeing liquor &c. Alternatively the embossed applicator roller may rotate in a trough containing the liquor (Fig. 2, not shown). For Figures see next column
