Abstract

139,782. FÚrat, E. T. Feb. 18, 1918, [Convention date]. Addition to 139,781. No Patent granted (Sealing Fee not paid). Inductor machines.-In magnetos' of the type described in the parent Specification, the mechanical speed-reducing gear between the shaft and the distributor is located within the hollow pole element. The pole-pieces a, b are formed in one piece with the operating shaft 42 and are assembled on the non-magnetic sleeve 7. The other pole-pieces not shown are likewise assembled on the sleeve 7 and are coupled by the ring 43. The bearing 37 is accommodated in the cavity 44 and supported on the extension 36 of the bearing 35. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also describes the use of a terminal socket 45 which is soldered to the cable 46 and is supported by the insulated bush 29, to which is screwed the spring-actuated contact 47, thus connecting the distributor to the secondary winding of the armature. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
