Abstract

1396473 Cam-operated internal shoe drum brakes F R SAVER [trading as OTTO SAUER ACHSENFABRIK] 5 March 1973 [3 March 1972] 10623/73 Heading F2E A roller 20 for engagement by an S-cam and bearing by integral journals 24 against semicircular cut-outs 22 in webs 16, 18 of a brake shoe 10 is retained by at least one plate 26 having a hole 28 which engages with clearance around one of the journals 24, and a further hole 30 by which it is removably secured to the web 16 or 18. As shown, two such plates are provided.
