Abstract
1395971 Thermal switches ITT CREED Ltd 10 Aug 1972 37290/72 Heading H1N A resettable fusible electric switch for thermal protection of apparatus, comprises a hollow chamber 1, Fig. A, having two pairs of conductive pins 9a, 9b, 10a, 10b penetrating the wall 2, one pair 9a, 9b being bridged by a slug 12 of lowmelting-point alloy and the other pair 10a, 10b being bridged when the slug fuses, the assembly being reset by inverting the chamber 1. The chamber 1 is rotatably supported by a rivet 63 and surrounded by four spring blade terminal contacts 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b which engage the conductive pins 9a-10a.
