Abstract

1395311 Animal feed Y KIMURA 22 Aug 1972 [30 Aug 1971 (6)] 38985/72 Heading A2B Bagasse is fermented by mixing it with a protein yeast fungus, in particular Candada utilis or Candada utilis var. major and a cellulose decomposing bacterium, in particular Trichoderma viride, then mixing the thus produced protein-containing fermented bagasse with crushed and dried green stalk mixed with one or more cereals, and rolling the resultant mixture into shapes which are dried. Saccharomyces cerevisiae may be added as an additional protein source before fermentation. Calcium carbonate may be added prior to fermentation. To the fermented mixture may be added, to increase vitamin content and nutritional value, chlorella or confrey powder, C- flavori, C. guillier mondire, Clastridium acetobutylieum, Eremothe cium ashpyii, and Ashpya gossipii-
