Abstract

1395228 Pontoons H STRANZINGER 15 Aug 1972 [19 Aug 1971] 37953/72 Heading B7A [Also in Divisions E1-E2] A buoyant element 1 of prismatic shape and having vertical side walls and horizontal end walls, has eye lugs 6, 6<SP>1</SP>, 6<SP>11</SP>, 6<SP>111</SP>; one projecting from each vertical corner. Each eye lug receives a bolt 8 for interconnection with adjacent buoyant elements, the eye lug of each corner of the element being located at a different distance from the upper end wall relative to the eye lug of each of the other corners of the element. Buoyant elements so joined together may be assembled to form floating platforms, floating bridges or floating walkways.
