Abstract
1394461 Hydraulic intensifiers HYDRAJAWS Ltd 12 March 1973 [24 Feb 1972] 8507/72 Heading F1D In a pressure intensifier as shown a highpressure cylinder 12 is separated from a lowpressure cylinder by a removable gland 15 through which a plunger 16 attached to a piston 17 passes. When it is desired to change the diameter of the plunger 16 the gland can be unscrewed and withdrawn through the low-pressure cylinder and replaced by one with a different bore. The plunger 16 is screwed to the piston 17. A concentric reservoir 24 is provided and its outer wall is of transparent plastics material. Fluid from the reservoir passes through bores 25, 26, 27 to the chamber 12.
