Abstract

1393154 Prefabricated service room units FCE-DILLON INC 10 May 1972 [12 May 1971 (2)] 21973/72 Heading E1A A prefabricated utility room unit 10 for mounting on opposed walls 80, 81 comprises in combination a pre-cast structural concrete floor slab 20 having opposed side walls such as 21 which extend from one end 20a of the slab, and terminate short of the other end 20b thereof and are interconnected by a transverse wall and a ceiling slab 75; a partition wall dividing the space between the above walls into kitchen and bathoom areas; heating and/ or cooking, ventilation and electrical fixtures secured to said side walls and said slab, and, connecting means for said fixtures arranged in exposed relationship on the outside of one of said walls. An upright storage unit 35 is mounted on the second end of the floor slab 21 which is pivoted with projecting re-inforcements 100 to interconnect same to adjacent floor slabs F. The units may be interconnected in superimposed relationship to form a multi-storey building and each incorporate a pre-assembled plumbing "tree" with means to connect same to units above and below it. For innumerable minor details for closing joints between superimposed modules, disposition of fittings, re-inforcements, etc the span and remaining drawings, (not shown) should be referred to.
