Abstract
1393144 Developing latent images XEROX CORP 16 Aug 1972 [18 Aug 1971] 38229/72 Heading G2H An electro-photographic apparatus which employs a cascade development device has a development electrode 70 arranged above the electro-photographic surface 60 at the point where developer is cascaded across the surface. The electrode comprises a plurality of taut, parallel, uniformly spaced, elongated wires carried in a frame 71. The wires have a diameter of between 0.004 and 0.05 inches and a uniform spacing of between 0.01 and 0.25 inches. The electrode is preferably arranged with the wires at an angle to the direction of movement of the surface 60 (which may be an endless belt).
