Abstract
139,299. Coninck, A. de. Feb. 25, 1919. Springs, arrangement of; adjusting height of body from the ground.- The rear cantilever springs 7 of an automobile are mounted beneath the side frames of the chassis and are connected at their forward ends by links 14 to pins 15 mounted eccentrically in cylindrical blocks 16 capable of being turned to vary the height of the pins 15. In the form shown, the block 16, Fig. 3, has a worm-wheel 19 formed in its circumference which is engaged by a worm 18 adapted to be turned by a spanner 20.
