1392323 Coated tile E GREGSON 21 March 1973 [28 March 1972] 14383/72 Addition to 1259335 Heading B2E In a modification of Specification 1259335, the floor tile is produced by coating chipboard or hardboard with epoxy, acrylic or oleo-urea formaldehyde-alkyd resin or urea formaldehyde resin, allowing the resin to partially set for a period in the region of one hour, applying a solventless, colourless or white resin to the coating, coating the solventless resin with coloured polyvinyl chloride flakes whilst the resin is still fluid but partially set, allowing the solventless resin to set for 12-18 hours, applying a further coating of a clear resin and allowing this to cure for 24 hours.
