Abstract
1390120 Electromechanical filters SIEMENS AG 1 Sept 1972 [13 Sept 1971] 40681/72 Heading H3U A narrow band electromechanical filter comprises square section bar resonators in rows 1a, 2, 1b, and 1, 3, the rows being mutually separated substantially, by the internode distance 10-10<SP>1</SP>, or (a), Fig. 2 (not shown) for the two node bending resonance in direction 11 of a resonator. Coupling filaments 4 connect the rows and, being connected to the upper resonator surfaces adjacent the nodal regions, are stressed in bending and torsion, whereas support wires 5 are attached to the nodes of the resonators, and to the walls of housing 7. Electrostrictive plates 6 provide input and output transducers, and there may be more than two rows of collinear resonators.
