Abstract
954,064. Electromechanical filters. TELEFUNKEN G.m.b.H. Nov. 25, 1960 [Nov. 26, 1959], No. 40577/60. Heading H3U. A mechanical vibratory filter comprises a plurality of vibrator elements 1 adapted and arranged to vibrate in bending oscillation in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the filter, the elements being coupled to one another by coupling elements 2 in the form of wires, strips, ribbons or the like which are fixed to the vibrator elements outwardly of their vibration nodes, which lie along the chain lines 3. The coupling element may be positioned at the extremities of the vibration elements, Fig. 3 (not shown). The vibration and coupling elements may be formed integrally by stamping from a metal sheet, or the coupling elements may be wires which are welded on to the vibration elements.
