1389272 Field lens PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE VEB 22 Aug 1972 39010/72 Heading G2J In an image field lens for reflex cameras having a convex spherical or aspherical surface which is intended to face the eye-piece, the surface comprises a central convex portion 4 and a convex edge portion 2 and the portion 4 is sunk into the lens body 1 by a distance S which is equal to or greater than the distance a by which the thickness of the lens is reduced. The portion 2 may be spherical and the portion 4 aspherical, or vice versa, and the curvature of the portion 4 may be more gradual than that of the portion 2.
