Abstract
1,196,817. Fresnel Lenses. FRANKE & HEIDECKE G.m.b.H. [trading as ROLLEI-WERKE FRANKE & HEIDECKE]. July 1, 1968 [July 12, 1967], No.31357/68. Heading G2J. A Fresnel field lens for a reflex camera has a range of focal lengths and comprises Fresnel stages consisting of surfaces 1, 2 of the two extreme focal lengths which merge continuously into one another in the peripheral direction by formation of a series of undulations. In a modification each convex surface 1, 2 is replaced by two inclined surfaces forming an inverted V shape or the two inclined surfaces may be transposed to form a shallow V-shape.
