Abstract

1389213 Baling waste material G RBULLEN 26 May 1972 [26 Feb 1971] 5611/71 Heading B5F [Also in Division F2] Apparatus for compacting waste material into bales comprises a baling chamber having an hydraulically operated horizontally reciprocated platen which has at opposite sides slide bearings presenting V-shaped grooves co-operating with complementarily shaped guide rails extending along the sides of the chamber the length of the stroke of the platen. The waste material is fed on a conveyer 1 under a crushing roller 2 to a nip formed with a conveyer 4. The material is fed on to stationary spaced teeth 5 and is cut by a multi-bladed roller 6 before falling down a shoot 7 in to the baling chamber.
