Abstract

1388578 Compressed gas bottle discharge device TOKYO TOYO RUBBER INDUSTRY CO Ltd 4 April 1972 [3 April 1971] 15439/72 Heading F4P The closure disc 12 of a compressed gas bottle 8 is punctured by a pin 13 when lifted against a biasing spring 19 by clockwise rotation of a lever 22 about a pin 23 and effected either by manual rotation of a lever 25 about a pin 24 or by downward movement of the stem 47 of a slidable sleeve 45 when a paper sleeve 38 which retains sleeve 45 in its retracted position against a spring 35 becomes wetted. The spring 35 is held compressed between the top of sleeve 45 and the underside of a disc 43 from which extends a shank 39 having bifurcations 40, 41 between which extends a pin 37 seated at its ends in recesses in the top of sleeve 45.
