Abstract

1388404 Gas turbine engine fuel control ROLLS ROYCE (1971) Ltd 15 June 1972 [18 June 1971] 28634/71 Heading F1G A fuel control system for a gas turbine engine comprises at least one temperature measuring device 20 adapted to measure the temperature of at least one inlet nozzle guide vane disposed downstream of each fuel injector 14, each device being connected to valve means 19 adapted to control the fuel flow to its respective injector so as to maintain a predetermined temperature in the nozzle guide vane or vanes whose temperature is measured. The signal from the device 20 which may be a thermocouple or pyrometer is amplified in a control unit 21 before being utilized by the control valve 19.
